Yes, indeed. It may have only been released three years ago, but PS3 RPG Hyperdimension Neptunia is getting a remake and a port to the Playstation Vita under the title Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1. It will use character models from of the more recent Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, as well as its battle and Active Animation systems. In addition, the characters Compa and IF have redrawn portraits (it is unclear whether other cameos from GUST and NIS will return), and the story will see a few changes with some new events and conversations added.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, which is being worked on by Summon Night 5 developer Felistella, is set for a release on October 31st in Japan. No word yet on a release elsewhere.
