Gust Announces Chronos Materia For PS Vita
There's even a character named Thyme!
06.27.13 - 3:31 PM

Japanese developer GUST has a new PlayStation Vita title on their hands - and it's not an Atelier series port this time! Recently revealed over at Famitsu was Chronos Materia, a JRPG that allows players to rewind time in order to change the outcome of the game's events.

In a world no longer populated by human civilization, players take on the roles of several girls who came to this world, and it sounds like they use the ability to remind time to change its fate and to 'break an eternal cycle.' Outcomes of key events such as a fire destroying a forest village, for example, can be changed. Chronos Materia has an item synthesis system, something Gust knows a lot about creating after all those Atelier titles, but so far little is known about the battle system. The characters, including Iris, Thyme, Shion and Primula were designed by Non of Vocaloids fame.

Despite just being announced, Chronos Materia already has a Japanese release date of September 26th.
