Today at Aksys Games, we took a gander at their Vita port of Muramasa, titled Muramasa Rebirth. Those familiar with Muramasa will find an enhanced version that boasts improved graphics, retranslations, and more fluid and intuitive controls than those experienced on the Wii. The Vita's controls allow players to jump more easily and to smoothly transition into combos.

Fans of Muramasa's initial iteration will enjoy this enhanced remake, with redesigned visuals that jump from the screen and the reconfigured controls that accentuate the already engrossing gameplay. Although Aksys intends on releasing Muramasa Rebirth on June 25th, no release date has been slated for its four DLC characters, which include mini-scenarios each featuring one of the following: a cat-like character, monster child, projectile wielding ninja, and hoe-armed farmer.
