Mistborn: Birthright Delayed
Little Orbit pushes game back to at least 2014 06.11.13 - 9:01 PM Fans of Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn fantasy series will be disappointed to hear that the video game adaptation we reported on at last year's E3 has been delayed until at least 2014. Little Orbit is focused on getting Young Justice: Legacy out the door and it sounds like details on development are still up in the air on Mistborn: Birthright. Questions about which platform the game would be on at this point still need answering, along with several other key issues. RPGFan saw a "first look" concept demo of Mistborn: Birthright at last year's E3 that showed the protagonist Fiddle demonstrating his powers of "allomancy", the magic system from the novels that revolves around the manipulation of various metals. Little Orbit confirmed that Brandon Sanderson is still very much on board with the project and remains committed to writing all of the dialogue for the game, which is at least some good news for fans of the series. We'll be bringing you more news on Little Orbit's Young Justice: Legacy in a future update.
