Stephen checks in on the Vita port of the beloved adventure.

While perusing Sony's latest offers for the Vita, I had a chance to spend a few minutes with Telltale's port of The Walking Dead. Last year's critical darling has made the transition to Vita quite nicely-- the graphics are sharp and the game seems to control quite well. Movement is handled on the left stick, with the cursor and its associated context functions mapped to the right stick and the D-pad. If you've played the game on another platform, you certainly know what to expect here, although it's worth mentioning that the game was definitely in an early stage, as there was some significant slowdown present during some transitions and scenes.
The final release will include all five episodes as well as a new chapter called "400 Days." Be sure to check back with RPGFan later this week for our impressions of the new story material!
