Tales fans on this side of the pond sure have plenty to get excited about these days, and today they got one more reason.

Tales of Symphonia: Unisonant Pack, a PlayStation 3 HD package containing both Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, has just been confirmed for a 2014 release in both EU and US territories under the name Tales of Symphonia Chronicles.

Originally released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2003, Tales of Symphonia remains the best-selling title in the series on western shores. A PlayStation 2 version featuring several enhancements and additions was later released exclusively in Japan, but it is unknown if the HD collection will contain these extras. Symphonia's sequel, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World was released on the Nintendo Wii in 2008.

The HD package will contain new anime cut-ins for special artes, as well as Tales of the Abyss-themed costumes, and is slated for an October 2013 release in Japan and a broader 2014 date in other territories.
