New Shin Megami Tensei IV Trailer Shows Us The Ritual

Shin Megami Tensei IV takes us back to 15th century Japan, a time period that's got less technology and more samurai. Well, okay, maybe a little tech snuck in there somewhere. As you start out the game, your main character is initiated as a samurai, who fight to protect the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado from demons - but quietly, as much of the world doesn't actually know these demons even exist. But first, the Gauntlet - the item that helps you summon demons and whatnot - has to actually accept you as a samurai.

Shin Megami Tensei IV for Nintendo 3DS goes on sale July 16th in North , complete with its fair share of interesting outfits as pre-order bonuses, and of course, a limited edition as a first-print run.
