Capcom has announced that the newest iteration of their popular adventure/visual novel series, Phoenix Wright, will be coming to North American and European 3DS consoles in Fall 2013 as a download-only title. Entitled Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, the story begins in a destroyed courtroom where Phoenix and his Wright Anything Agency search for the cause.
Dual Destinies features 3D graphics for the first time in series history, on top of the ability to change views in each crime scene to uncover new evidence. Phoenix Wright will also be assisted by young upstart Apollo Justice, featured in the fourth Ace Attorney game, alongside new Associate Attorney Athena Cykes. Athena can psychoanalyze witnesses and using her 'Mood Matrix,' identify if they might be surprised, angry, happy, or sad in an attempt to find contradictions in testimony.
