And Now, a Look at Those New Characters In Atelier Escha & Logy
What, already? Come see 40+ new screens and character artworks! 05.02.13 - 1:57 AM Wow, it feels like it was a mere two days ago that we posted about new characters in Atelier Escha & Logy, and here we-- wait, it was only two days ago? How time flies. Well, at the time, we had character bios that Gust had released on several new additions to the cast, but no visuals to go along with them. Now, we have artwork and 38 MORE screen shots showing both already-revealed and new cast members in action! (As an aside, this brings our gallery past 110 screens already.) All of these and more are in our updated gallery, but for a quick refresher, see below. From left to right, we have the hammer-wielding engineer Awin; the historian Threia who battles with... her earrings; and 32-year-old treasure hunter Reyfer. As we've talked about, you'll see six sets of stats in the battle screen shots, as you'll be able to enter battle with six party members this time around, three in the front row and three in the rear row. While the characters in the rear row are 'support' characters, certain skills can still be used in this position to assist the main team. With two alchemists in Escha and Logy, using both in battle means you have two item-using characters. Using the Double Draw skill allows the duo to each use an item in succession, which not only enhances their effects, but even allows some items to actually be crafted mid-battle (under the right circumstances). Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky (PS3) releases June 27th in Japan. As you probably know, there's no word on a North American release yet, but we feel there's a more-than-good chance we'll see it. Patience, young ones!
