Dragon Fantasy is a retro RPG that released on the iOS, PC and Mac platforms a couple of years ago. Its development began by Adam Rippon and Bryan Sawler back in the 90s when they were teenagers, and as Muteki Corp. Adam brought the project back to life and released the game with 8-bit graphics. Next week, this indie title will hit the PlayStation Network for play on both the PS3 and Vita, this time with the option of 16-bit graphics (including parallax backgrounds). The music also gets an update as do the menus, and a new 'tower of trials' dungeon in Anders' chapter.

In addition to the trailer above, be sure to check out the screenshots in our new gallery below as well. Dragon Fantasy Book I will cost $10, but PlayStation Plus subscribers can get it for $8 (20% off) as part of Sony's Spring Fever sale. Muteki plans to release a sequel. Dragon Fantasy Book II, later this summer.
