What is Neverwinter, you might ask? There's a trailer for that.

After several closed beta sessions, one in which editor Stephen Meyerink took part, Cryptic Studios and Perfect World have finally set a date for the open beta of the free-to-play MMORPG Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter, as well as a fourth weekend beta for founders. On April 12th starting at noon Pacific and for 60 hours, founding members can be the first to try out the professions system in one of four different fields: leadership, mailsmithing, platesmithing, and leatherwork. For access to this beta and the Founder's pack, interested players can still visit here.
Meanwhile the open beta will begin April 30th and, of course, is open to all. The game's full launch date has not yet been set. If you're still unsure as to what Neverwinter is, be sure to read our preview and watch the video below, as well as check out the latest screens!
