Aksys Games has announced a new PSP visual novel title developed by the Idea Factory Otomate Studio, and it's a game with a delightfully oddball premise – saving a theme park from a porcine madman while looking for love.
Sweet Fuse: At Your Side casts you as Saki Inafune, niece of Keiji Inafune (who seems to just show up everywhere now). As Saki is attending the opening ceremonies of her uncle's new theme park, disaster strikes as the ferris wheel explodes at the hands of the portly, cigar-smoking Count Hogstein. Taking the park management team hostage, the Count announces a deadly series of games that Saki must survive to rescue her uncle.
Saki won't be alone, as she's joined by a cast of other participants. While the goal is to stay alive, it so happens the rest of the cast are all available bachelors – what luck! Thanks to the game's many puzzles, divergent paths, and possible love connections, Sweet Fuse: At Your Side features 14 different endings, and over 30 hours of gameplay.
