First Look at RaiderZ: Broken Silence Expansion
Also inside: Giant cakes and chocolate brooms! Yes, really.

Monster-hunting MMORPG RaiderZ is getting its first expansion with a bevy of new content. RaiderZ: Broken Silence will include new areas, a PVP battle system, epic monsters to destroy "piece by piece," and will see the level cap increased to 40 (from the current of 35). We don't have much more in the way of details on what other new content we might see, though the game's Senior Producer Mark Hill had this to say:

"Players have been asking for more content - and that's something that we wanted to address with the upcoming launch of RaiderZ: Broken Silence," says Senior Producer Mark Hill. "The Grand Wall of Silence has fallen. Now, the Kingdom of Rendel and its citizens face a new threat from the north. I can't wait to share more details about this expansion. Expect more info very soon."

We have the first batch of screen shots from the expansion in our RaiderZ gallery. Also inside are... delicious cakes?

Taking place now through February 27th in the Kingdom of Rendel are in-game events for the Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day. Besides filling towns with balloons, sweets, and general mirth, a special Chocolate Broomstick Mount will be available for the holiday. Why a chocolate broomstick? Because, as Perfect World puts it, "chocolate can make anything better." I can't argue with that. Riding on said broomstick also allows you to perform a special Cupid Arrow emote to show that Sorcerer how you really feel about him/her.

The other bit of holiday fun comes from the Yut Game Sets, based on the popular Korean board game. The set can be a drop from any world monster, and gives you a set of oversized Yut Sticks to use as weapons. During battle, throwing the Yut Sticks on the ground will imbue you with a random buff.

Here's a small taste of this silliness, but check out our complete RaiderZ gallery for even more:
