The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Revealed
CD Projekt RED isn't just busy with Cyberpunk. 02.05.13 - 5:50 PM Last night it was announced that CD Projekt RED is in fact working on a new Witcher title. Titled The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the game was actually revealed via GameInformer's next cover, below, featuring what looks like an older, bearded Geralt of Rivia. So far, the Polish developer has said that the title will be on PC and 'high-end platforms' - with speculation going towards the as-yet-unannounced next-gen consoles, of course. The Witcher 3 will be more open-world, and 'about 30 times' the size of its critically-acclaimed predecessor, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Storywise it will be up to par with the first two titles, though with much less limitations as far as player control and exploration goes. You'll be able to wander between the various areas without loading screens Lastly, it was revealed that this is in fact the last Witcher title, as the studio feels confident that they can end the series 'on a high note.' The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, running on CDPR's own REDEngine 3, is due out in 2014. Still haven't picked up The Witcher 2 yet? You can now find the Enhanced Edition on Xbox 360 for $30 US.
