RPGFan Podcast Special Edition: Music of the Year 2012
A little something different for the discerning listener. 02.02.13 - 1:08 AM Even though we're just now getting to the second month of 2013, back when we posted our Music of the Year 2012 feature, we promised a special podcast... and here it is! I got together with fellow editor Derek Heemsbergen, editor alumnus Patrick Gann, and Don Kotowski, editor at Square Enix Music Online, to put together a very special Music of the Year episode of our podcast, wherein we listened to some of our favorite tunes from last year and hashed it out about each one. As a disclaimer, since this was our first go-around for a show like this, today's episode is perhaps a bit rougher than you might be used to, though we hope you enjoy it nonetheless. And if a music-centric podcast is something you'd enjoy listening to, please do shoot us an email or post in the forums about it, because we envision this working as a sort of "proof-of-concept" pilot episode, and would love make this is a regular offshoot of our standard podcast! Also, very importantly-- Derek and I interviewed Casey Ormond, the arranger/performer of Valkyria Chronicles Piano Pieces and Piano Collections Final Fantasy XII. That interview is featured at the end of today's podcast, and also available as a separate download. We had a great conversation with Casey, so be sure to listen in!
