Or a hawk-eyed chocobo, maybe. The once-doomed MMORPG is edging ever closer to its glorious rebirth, and as of today, eager adventurers can sign up to be a part of the game's Beta test. Keep in mind that if you played Final Fantasy XIV Version 1.0 and attained Legacy status on your account, you automatically qualify to be a Beta tester beginning from phase 1. Similarly, if you were an early purchaser of Final Fantasy XIII and have a Square Enix Members code, you can enter that for priority access to the Playstation 3 Beta. For more information and to sign up, head on over to the Beta tester application site. In addition, Square Enix released the full CG opening for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn today. It includes the previously released CG from the "End of an Era" trailer and a new segment showcasing Eorzea five years after the fall of Dalamud.
