Preview the tracks in advance of the December releases!
12.03.12 - 4:35 AM

Any big fans of Final Fantasy music in the audience? If so, you're in luck. December will see the release of not one but two new arrangement albums from the venerable series, in celebration of the 25th anniversary. On December 5, you'll be able to get your ears on Final Fantasy Tribute ~Thanks~, a series of arrangements from the whole series in a variety of styles. The official site (Japanese), linked below, features a sampling of every track on the album. Those fortunate enough to be able to purchase the album at Tower Records or Village Vanguard shops will also receive the Rare SQ bonus album. This disc includes arrangements from games like Soukaigi, The World Ends With You, and more.

Arrangements and remixes not your style? Perhaps the Final Fantasy Orchestral Album is more to your taste. This album, which will also be released in a package that includes a Blu-ray of the live performance, features over 25 tracks, performed by the FILMharmonic Orchestra Prague. The official site for this album is also linked below, and features a few samples for your listening pleasure. Orchestra fanatics everywhere can nab a copy of this album (and/or its accompanying Blu-ray) on December 26. Both of these albums are currently slated for physical release in Japan only, but will still be available from your friendly neighborhood import shop.
