Shocker: It's cheaper than buying individual episodes.

Phoenix Online Studios' next title, Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller is a mystery adventure that follows the titular character - an FBI agent - as she tracks down a serial killer, one that her own brother fell victim to. Cognition's staff includes comic artist Romano Molenaar and designer Jane Jensen (Gray Matter). The episodic title, which promises a narrative where your choices will matter, is set to start releasing this fall on PC, Mac and iPad platforms.
The season pass is a $30 package - but if you pre-order, it will cost only $25. On the other hand, buying the four episodes individually would total $40 in the end. Pre-orders are now open at GameStop, Rain DG, and GamersGate.
Currently GameStop lists an October 30th date for Cognition Episode 1: The Hangman. Aside from the $5 savings, pre-ordering the season pass also nets you the original soundtrack for the first episode.
