Mass Effect 3: Omega DLC Detailed
Said to be the biggest ME3 expansion yet.. and out next month.

A couple of weeks after very, very briefly confirming that it was actually in the works, BioWare today detailed Mass Effect 3: Omega, the next single-player DLC for the title. The story for Omega will continue from where the Mass Effect: Invasion comics left off, where Cerberus had begun to throttle the asteroid-turned-space-station by cutting off its supply lines at the Omega relay. Eventually, General Petrovsky, who will appear in the DLC, secured the station in the comics.

In the main game, players ran into Omega's pirate queen Aria T'loak who promises to take back her station by employing violence. It shouldn't be at all surprising that Shepard ends up helping Aria. Players will take down the blockade, and later defend the station against an outright attack and from its shields being disabled. We also get a first in-game look at a female Turian, plus new enemies - perhaps the new Cerberus ones we got in the newest multiplayer pack this week.

Omega will also be the biggest Mass Effect 3 expansion yet, doubling that of the second biggest DLC - and the mast expensive, at 1200 Microsoft Points or $15 US. The DLC has also been dated for November 27th - just a month and a half away. Stay tuned for more details, and hopefully some media!
