What DLC Is Included In The Mass Effect Trilogy?
Answer: Not much. 10.01.12 - 11:37 PM Last week when BioWare announced the Mass Effect Trilogy, there was no mention of the inclusion of downloadable content, which the series has a lot of. Sometime over the last couple of days, the trilogy's FAQ was updated with.. well, some clarification on DLC. The PC version of the trilogy will include Bring Down The Sky and Pinnacle Station for Mass Effect, the Cerberus Network for ME2 which comes with several weapons and armour, the Firewalker Pack, the mercenary Zaeed Massani and his loyalty mission, and a Normandy Crash Site mission; as well as an online pass for Mass Effect 3. The Xbox 360 version won't, however, come with the two Mass Effect DLC. The included Mass Effect 2 and 3 content is the same as in the PC version of the trilogy. For both platforms, this of course leaves out all the paid Mass Effect 2 DLC. There was also unsurprisingly no mention of any of Mass Effect 3's extra content, which is still very recent. BioWare hasn't yet confirmed what extra content the PlayStation 3 version of the trilogy will come with. It's worth noting that last year's PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 had Overlord, Kasumi: Stolen Memory and Lair of the Shadow Broker all on disc, and those are notcurrently available as separate downloads over PSN - and for that matter, nor are the first game's two DLC (for obvious reasons). On the same day as the trilogy's PS3 release, though, Mass Effect will be a downloadable title over PSN for $14.99. Both PC and Xbox 360 versions of the Mass Effect Trilogy will release on November 6th for $59.99. The PS3 version's release date has yet to be announced.
