Square Enix Releases First Gameplay Trailer For Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
Chocobos, dragons, and Limit Breaks aplenty! Also, alpha test signups are open.

If you've been following the recent media blitz for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, you may have seen the off-screen footage that surfaced during Gamescom last week, showing off the game's alpha build in an area near Gridania. Today, we have the first direct-feed trailer for the game, marking the debut footage of what appears to be a redesigned Thanalan and La Noscea. The trailer also shows an armor-clad male Miqo'te leading an expedition into the Tam-Tara Deepcroft, where a party full of iconic Final Fantasy jobs defeat a dragon by summoning an otherworldly meteor. Also revealed was a new class, Arcanist, and its corresponding job, Summoner.
