Supergiant Games' critically-acclaimed Xbox Live Arcade title Bastion has since transitioned to PC, Mac, Linux and even Chrome, and is now available for iPad. As we sometimes see with iOS releases, the company just revealed the game existed earlier today, as it's being officially unveiled as part of PAX Prime, which kicks off this week.

Odds are, since the XBLA release last summer, you've probably heard of the gorgeous action RPG by now. If not, we have not only a review, but screen shots and a simple/effective reveal trailer below:

Bastion for iPad is $4.99 (USD) and requires an iPad 2 or new iPad running iOS 5.1 or above, with a minimum of about 1GB of free space. As you can see from the screen shots, Bastion is designed with full Retina Display support on the new iPad. It includes over 20 GameCenter achievements, and offers both a new control system designed for easier touch screen gameplay, as well as virtual buttons for a more traditional feel (this can be toggled anytime). Finally, Bastion for iPad contains the Stranger's Dream extra that was released for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.
