Final Fantasy III Goes To Ouya
As a launch title, no less! 07.31.12 - 3:50 PM Ever since the campaign kicked off earlier this month on Kickstarter, the Android-based game console Ouya has already received over six million dollars in funding. With that kind of cash raised, the system is currently slated for a March 2013 launch - and the lineup of titles has already begun. Today Square Enix revealed plans to release Final Fantasy III as one of these launch titles. (Yes, this means the real Final Fantasy III, not FFVI.) This makes sense since FFIII is already an Android title, but the company says they're interested in releasing more titles and DLC for the platform in the future. Final Fantasy III will be optimized for Ouya; as well, a demo will be released at the same time.
