Sol Trigger Battle Video
And a few random tidbits from Imageepoch's CEO.
07.11.12 - 7:11 PM

Following last week's videos, JRPG developer Imageepoch released a clip showing off the battle system for Sol Trigger, one of its last PSP titles. See how it works below.

CEO Ryoei Mikage shared a few tidbits on the title on the company's blog: if you like to speed through games, this one's for you. You'll have the option to skip cutscenes as well as speed up message text; as well, you can hold down a button to make battle animations play out twice as fast, like in 7th Dragon. You can also use auto-battle mode if you don't want to go through the motions yourself against lesser enemies. Finally, there was mention of a 'character simultaneous equipment change' system to reduce the time involved in buying and equipping characters, but Mikage didn't elaborate. He did, however, promise to talk more next week about the 'Sol' system which is, of course, very important to the game.

Sol Trigger for PSP goes on sale in Japan on August 30th.
