E3 2012: Core Blaze Hands-on Preview
We get our hands and eyes on this upcoming action-based MMORPG. Also, salmon!

Even working on RPGFan daily and attempting to keep up with industry news, there's always games we get to see at E3 some of us have never heard of. Gamania's upcoming PC action MMORPG Core Blaze is one such game that came out of nowhere. The game was revealed to North American media for the first time at an exclusive off-site event.

After a ride in a nondescript black van with Russian music on the radio, Liz and I arrived safely at the LoftSEVEN Penthouse where the Core Blaze event took place. Each group of media folk (there were multiple appointments) was small, presumably to give everyone time with the game. There was some excellent concept art from the game on display, and a giant replica of an archer's bow. You'll see some of this in our upcoming E3 Gallery.

It was an intimate and fun little event with nice people, chicken sausage, salmon-topped appetizers and more. Oh, and we played a game too! Read on for what we thought of Core Blaze, and what to expect when it releases next year. Don't miss our new gallery as well.

I'd like to thank all the fine people from Gamania and Triple Point PR who invited us. It was a nice break from the chaos of the convention center, to say nothing of the stunning going away trinkets we got (more on that later too).
