Famitsu reports that first-person dungeon crawler Unchained Blades will be receiving a sequel this fall. Titled Unchained Blades Exiv, the game will be released on the 3DS and PSP. No information about the gameplay is available, but the game is set to once again feature a variety of famous Japanese talents. Nobuo Uematsu will be composing the theme song, while his band, Earthbound Papas, will be working on the rest of the game's music. Event direction and scenario writing will be handled by Toshio Akashi (who worked on Lunar) and Takashi Hino (who worked on Grandia). Character art will be drawn by Kaito Shibano (Luminous Arc 3), Suzuhito Yasuda (Devil Survivor), and Kunihiko Tanaka (Xenogears), among others.

No North American localization has been announced for the sequel, but you can look forward to Unchained Blades when it releases digitally on 3DS and PSP next month.
