If Chun-Li and Morrigan aren't enough to entice you, then I don't know what to tell you.

Project X Zone's already-large cast grew by eight this week. The 3DS strategy RPG, a joint effort by Capcom, Namco Bandai and Sega, added a few big names.. and a couple of more obscure ones. Joining the character list are:
- Chun Li, Street Fighter
- Morrigan, Darkstalkers
- Bruno, Dynamite Deka
- Valkyrie, Valkyrie no Bouken
- Erica and Gemini, Sakura Taisen
- Nanbu Kaguya and Haken, Mugen Frontier: Super Robot Taisen
The battlefield is, unsurprisingly for an SRPG, grid-based. But if you have certain allies within 8 grid spaces of the unit you're currently using, it's possible to trigger a 'support attack' - a follow-up attack to your unit's attack. Or, a Cross Hit can take place instead - where the two units attack at once. The Cross Hit causes the enemy to freeze and you can execute more combos on him/her(it?).
You'll find several new screens of the new characters - along with a Sakura Taisen theater stage - on our screens below. Project X Zone is out sometime this year in Japan.
