Diablo III Open Beta This Weekend
Starting in about... two and a half hours.
04.20.12 - 11:46 AM

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that all users with a valid Battle.net ID will be able to play the open beta for their upcoming title, Diablo III, this weekend. Lasting from today, Friday, April 20 at 12:01PM PDT to Monday, April 23, at 10:00AM PDT, players will be able to play any of the five classes up to level 13 and get a taste of hell.

Those who don't already have Battle.net accounts from World of Warcraft or StarCraft II, you will be able to create an account specifically for this beta. Those who already have access to the closed beta will keep their access through the end of the beta on May 1.

There is one caveat for many of our international readers - Blizzard has confirmed that this beta will not be available in Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, or Macau, and that these players will have a separate, invitation-only beta starting the week of April 23.
