Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition To Be Localized As Pokémon Conquest
And it's slated for a June release!
04.04.12 - 6:23 PM

Some months ago, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company announced an interesting crossover title: Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition for the Nintendo DS. The title released mid-March in Japan and has seen solid sales numbers since, but don't worry, fans elsewhere won't be left out.

Nintendo of America, announced today that Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition will soon reach North American shores under the title Pokémon Conquest. Players take on the role of a young warlord who already has his own Pokémon, and needs to recruit other warriors and Pokémon to their side. The game is set in Ransei, unsurprisingly during Japan's feudal period and the warriors are all themed after Nobunaga's Ambition characters.

Pokémon Conquest includes over 200 Pokémon, many of which will have been seen in Pokémon Black & White. Battles are six-on-six, with an emphasis on choosing the right type of monsters in each situation, where the battle conditions can change at any moment.

Pokémon Conquest for Nintendo DS is slated for a June 18th release in North America.
