Ragnarok Odyssey First Expansion Now Available
In Japan that is. Also, screens and more expansions planned!
03.26.12 - 8:38 PM

When Gung Ho Online and GameArts' Ragnarok Odyssey, the latest Ragnarok Online-inspired title released in Japan for the PlayStation Vita back in February, the online multiplayer support was not yet available, leaving players with just the ad-hoc option. Today's expansion patches in the online component, as well as support for trading cards and items, screenshot functionality, and several other features.

Two more expansions are also in the works, Gung Ho's staff explained in recent interviews. The second, due out by the end of April, will add in new monsters, 10 more quests, a desert map from Ragnarok Online, plus give more monster variety per quest. The third, with an unspecified schedule, will add in even more quests, macros, and more customization options. Additionally four downloadable quests will be available on April 12th.

You can find screens of the April 12th quests and today's expansion in our gallery below. Ragnarok Odyssey hasn't been announced for an overseas release.
