And another weekend pass starts up today!

BioWare's recently-announced update 1.2 for Star Wars: The Old Republic, titled Legacy, is still slated to go live sometime next month. You can find the details here, and also check out a new five-minute developer video dedicated to the update here. One of the main highlights is the Legacy system which allows you to link your characters via a family tree, which gives you access to Legacy-only abilities, unlocking species from classes in the tree, and more. There will also be new content offered in the update.
Since the last Weekend Pass turned out to be quite popular, BioWare is running another such promotion as of earlier today. From now until Sunday night, players who don't already own an account can try the game for free all weekend without having to enter payment info. You can find ore details on the Weekend Pass here.
