Next Atelier Game Revealed
It doesn't have a name, but it's coming to Japanese PS3s in June. 03.18.12 - 9:33 PM Gust has been teasing a new title for a while, but finally revealed some details this weekend at Dengeki Games Festa. Even though Project A14 still doesn't have an official name, we know now that it is an Atelier title and set for a June release in Japan. The PS3 title will not be a part of the Arland series (that is, Atelier Rorona, Atelier Totori, and Atelier Meruru, the latter which will be out in North America this spring). There will be a new character designer this time, although Gust would not reveal who it is, the designer has some 'charming' new illustrations for the title. The main character was shown but only in silhouette's form, with her voice actress, and the voice actress of the character's sister being introduced at the game's reveal event. The sister relationship is said to be a crucial part of the game, whose main theme is 'the promise begins.' This is of course a little vague, but director Yoshito Okamura says this can apply to the promise made between the sisters, and promises that the developer has made in offering something 'interesting' for the fans with this title. More details are to come in the March 29th issue of Dengeki PlayStation, so check back!
