What's New In Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky's iOS Port?
It's not just a straight-up port.

Aeria Games had announced late last year that they were working on an iOS port of the Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. In talking to Famitsu, Aeria's Takayuki Hatano mentioned that this would be more than just a port. Fans can expect more story elements, perhaps linking the games together and even lead in to Zero no Kiseki.

On iOS, the game will incorporate some kind of social elements which are still being looked into, but this will possibly include things like support in battles, and getting items. In fact, they'd like to add a 'social shop' where you can search for friends who also play the game, and accept quests from them.

The interface is going to need an update to become touchscreen-friendly, and Aeria wants to make it so that the game is easily playable with just one finger (or thumb). The graphics will also get a bit of an update.

So far, there is no release date for Trails in the Sky on iOS, but it sounds like this year will not be possible, as series developer Falcom would like them to take their time to produce a good, quality version. The game will not be free, but a price point has not yet been determined. There will, however, be paid DLC like new characters and scenarios, depending on fan feedback.
