Dragon's Dogma Dated For May
A new trailer, plus pre-order and other bonuses!
01.31.12 - 7:39 PM

Revealed early last year, Capcom's Dragon's Dogma is being touted as an open world action fantasy title, one we got our hands on back at E3. After a period of silence from Capcom regarding the title, as of today we finally got not only a release date, but some info on bonuses as well.

Dragon's Dogma will release in North America on May 22nd, Europe on May 25th, and Japan on May 24th. Included will be a code for the Resident Evil 6 demo, one which will be available for Xbox 360 users on July 3rd, and to PS3 and PC users on September 4th (in North America and Japan) and 5th (in Europe).

Capcom has already worked out pre-order bonuses, too:

  • GameStop has a 'Pawn Upgrade Pack' which lets you 'rent' higher-level pawns right away, - that is, your AI-controlled allies in battle.
  • Best Buy is offering an armour upgrade pack
  • And Amazon.com has a weapon upgrade pack.

Released alongside all the news was a story trailer. Watch it here.
