The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Xbox 360 Dated, CGI Trailer
Geralt comes to consoles fashionably late, but in two editions.
01.26.12 - 2:27 PM

As promised earlier this week, CD Projekt RED held a pre-launch press conference for the Xbox 360 version of its highly successful PC title from last year, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. The 360 version, apparently called The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition, hits stores on April 17th - exactly 11 months after the PC version. Not only is all the PC content included (as had been promised), but some bonus content for the Xbox 360 - over three hours' worth, with some gameplay and story additions also made. CDPR will continue to support both versions post-release as well.

Below is the CGI trailer from the conference. It gets a little bloody, so watch at your own risk.

Don't say I didn't warn you!

If you got squeamish and didn't watch all the way through to the end, the trailer makes mention of two editions: the regular Enhanced Edition and a Dark Edition. Both include the game, a handbook, soundtrack and a map, the Dark Edition adds in an artbook, making-of DVD, medallion, and more. (Even though the site mentioned standard pricing for this edition, an actual price for either - and country availability - isn't given.)
