The Witch and The Hundred Soldiers is Nippon Ichi's next PlayStation 3 title, touted as an open world RPG where the titular witch, Metallica, has the control of a hundred soldiers. The cast goes far beyond this army, though. Lana Nia Luccinia is a shepherd who lives high up in the mountains can tell your fortune. Visco the Inquisitor, nicknamed Princess Dog because she was partially turned into a dog, is after Metallica who was responsible for this curse. The doll Wonder Kamamiru killed her last owner by stabbing them, and runs a collection room, Wonder Kammer.

You have a few ways to craft your own combos in the game. Depending on which weapons you equip using the five slots available, you'll create different combos. You have your choice of lances, axes, scythes, magic torches and swords, all with their different ranges and power. Axes and torches, for example are slower but more powerful. Scythes and axes also have a certain radius for their attack range, while spears/lances attack in a straight line.

As we briefly mentioned last week, you'll need to eat your enemies in order to restore your Giga Calories. If you run out of these, you'll lose the items you're carrying. If you're topped up on Giga Calories, you can keep the enemy as a snack for later. If you've lost all your items, you can recover at a green pond or do the finishing minigame for more items.

The Witch and the Hundred Soldiers releases in Japan on June 28th. For the latest screenshots, check out our gallery below!
