BioWare's Valentine's Day Gift Is The Mass Effect 3 Demo
Save the date for Commander Shepard. 01.18.12 - 11:45 AM With so many demos being released this month, many of you are no doubt wondering when Mass Effect 3's will surface. BioWare announced the date today; unfortunately, the demo won't be out in January as expected. It will, however, be released on February 14th on all platforms. The demo will include both single-player and co-op; however, unless you've purchased Battlefield 3, you won't get to play co-op mode until February 17th. If you purchased Battlefield 3 and activate the online pass that came with the game, you can access the ME3 co-op right away (on the 14th). The demo will also support Kinect voice commands - this can be used to order Shepard and your squadmates to use certain weapons and powers, and to make dialogue wheel choices. BioWare promises the demo will be extensive, and let the player experience the gameplay, story and customization options. Mass Effect 3 releases in North America on March 6th and in Europe on March 9th.
