Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition Dated For Japan
And finally, a few details.
01.12.12 - 6:28 PM

Just before Christmas, The Pokémon Company and Tecmo Koei announced an interesting crossover: Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition for the Nintendo DS. Your main character, whether male or female, is a general who will be going up against other generals (all from Nobunaga's Ambition, of course) and their Pokémon. Nobunaga, for example, has a Zekrom. (Your character will always start off with Eevee.) Since the world is divided into 17 kingdoms, you'll have to defeat all these generals in order to reunite land.

The battles are strategy-based in which both sides will have six units, all Pokémon whose type will determine what skills they have. The generals themselves also have their own special powers, such as the ability to heal their Pokémon. You can build up your army by recruiting other generals, and linking with wild Pokémon. Story details are still scarce.

Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition is dated for March 17th in Japan, at the price of 5800 yen ($75.55 US).
