Two Japanese Release Dates Set
Both Atelier Elkrone and Shining Blade will try to charm you in March. 12.16.11 - 1:09 AM The PSP is still getting lots of support in Japan even with the Vita being released there this weekend. Two PSP titles were given Japanese dates - or rather, a date - by Famitsu earlier. Atelier Elkrone: Dear for Otomate and Shining Blade are two games that we haven't received several updates on, but both are due out on March 15th. Atelier Elkrone is an otome title with six potential romantic interests, and the Atelier series' usual alchemy elements mixed in. (Pun not intended.) Shining Blade, meanwhile, is SEGA's next RPG, with a battle system that has been compared to that of Valkyria Chronicles ever since its announcement. Characters have their own force attacks, or you can have them perform link (combo) attacks by choosing the face buttons that correspond to which characters you want as a part of the combo. A price wasn't announced for Atelier Elkrone, but on UMD Shining Blade will cost 6279 yen ($80.63 US), and 5600 yen ($71.91 US) for a digital download. The retail version includes a fan disc loaded with music, digital items and some movies. Neither has been announced for western release.
