iOS RPG Ash Gets Major Facelift, Balance Tweaks
Oh, and it's even 80% off right now. New screens inside!
12.15.11 - 10:03 PM

Just over a year ago, we reviewed SRRN Games' Ash, an original RPG for iOS that has fared pretty well with players.

Today, the company announced a major update to the game: all-new in-game artwork. Up until now, the game made use of licensed RPG Maker art, but Ash 2.0 has been re-skinned with all original art, and it's quite a lovely change, as you can see in our gallery below. Additionally, the game's random encounters have been rebalanced, to make the game a little easier and more accessible to play.

Normally, Ash's asking price is $4.99, but in celebration of these new changes, the game is on sale for the holidays for a paltry $0.99. If you're still unsure of such a commitment, Ash Lite [iTunes link] - the free demo version of the full game - has been updated with the new changes as well.

Oh, and while SRRN sent us the news and screens direct, I also want to thank reader Jeffrey Zhang (@chickdigger802 on Twitter) for giving us a heads-up earlier today as well!
