Valkyria Chronicles 3 Extra Edition Ships With Bonus Missions
If you never imported the original, now's a good time to do so. 11.24.11 - 10:49 PM We briefly mentioned a Valkyria Chronicles 3 re-release a few months ago, and it finally hits Japanese shelves today. The PSP title originally came out in Japan back in January, but SEGA never got around to localizing it over here. But if you're good with an import and haven't done so yet, you might want Valkyria Chronicles 3 Extra Edition, which ships with six more missions and at a cheaper price tag than the first issue. Three of these missions are brand new, while the other three were post-release DLC, and all are on disc.. The new missions include: a woman who shows up to Gusurg's funeral claiming to be his sister; another taking place post-game involving protagonist Kurt Irving and Imca and their futures; and a mission that takes place before the game, centered on the merchant that sells the Nameless Squad their weapons and supplies. The DLC missions focus on Riela Marcellis and a knife she still carries around; some backstory on Imca and why she's so bent on revenge; and one that was was a pre-order bonus: A mission with a younger Kurt Irving before he became the Nameless' leader. You can check out some screens for all six missions below. Valkyria Chronicles 3 Extra Edition is 3990 yen ($51.59 US).
