Final Fantasy XIII-2 Has Another GameStop Pre-Order Bonus
But only if you're a PowerUp Rewards member. 11.21.11 - 11:23 PM GameStop's Final Fantasy XIII-2 pre-order bonus of an extra costume for Serah - which no one has even seen yet - didn't seem to exactly impress a ton of fans, so Square Enix threw in another pre-order bonus today for the retail chain. The catch? You have to be a PowerUp Rewards member. While the costume is for everyone who pre-orderered through GS, members will get the Genji Bow, also for Serah, even if you've already pre-ordered. The item doubles as both a bow and a sword: Over in Japan, the game will get a special on the BS11 TV station, where it'll get a behind the scenes look with some of the game's staff. Sazh's VA, Masahi Ebera hosts the show on December 14th, and here is the commercial for the special: And if you want to sample the game's music, you can go to the official soundtrack site. If you're quick enough to grab the North American Collector's Edition of the game, it'll include the 4-disc soundtrack. Otherwise, the OST will cost you 3990 yen ($51.88 US), or 4800 yen ($62.28 US) for the special edition with a bonus DVD. Both versions release in Japan on December 14th. Final Fantasy XIII-2 releases on January 31st in North America.
