A Look At One of TERA's Big Monsters
Some new video and screens of this action MMORPG.

Already, Bluehole Studios and En Masse Entertainment have received criticism over the monster designs in its upcoming action MMORPG TERA. The monsters, (or rather Big Ass Monsters according to the developers), were designed the way they are because the game isn't your typical MMO, everything happens in real-time so players need to treat it like an action game, especially where these big guys are concerned. In fact, one of the approaches to the game and designs is 'all action, no faction' - but even without faction you're not going to be taking them down alone.

In the video below is one of these monsters, the Ovolith. (Don't watch if you have serious arachnophobia.)

TERA is set to launch in North America in the spring of 2012. In the meanwhile, you can check out some new screens and other video in our gallery below. To learn more about this title, you can also read up on E3 previews from both myself and editor Derek Heemsbergen.
