From Software's Dark Souls was advertised to be a lot tougher than its 2009 predecessor, Demon's Souls - and they weren't kidding. The extreme challenge isn't the only thing that this gritty action RPG has going for it, though. But even with its seamless, varied world, this definitely isn't a game for everyone. Editor and Random Encounter podcast host Rob Steinman took on the Dark Souls beast, partially damaged a controller in the process, and now shares his thoughts now that his difficult journey is over.
