Metal Max 2 Reloaded is a Nintendo DS remake of a Super Famicom title that takes you on a post-apocalyptic journey where you'll lead nurses, mechanics, soldiers, hunters and so on through the wastelands, sometimes using vehicles to do so. As if that didn't sound like an odd enough bunch, you'll also come across Pochi. He's an NPC dog, but will join your team - with a gatling gun, to boot. Dogs with guns... well, that's less odd than dogmentation I suppose.

The remake borrows features from the other DS game in the series, Metal Max 3 such as being able to hunt down 'wanted' monsters, and a guy with a pink Mohawk. If you can handle the slightly cranked up volume for the narration, here's a six-minute long trailer for the game.

Metal Max 2: Reloaded releases in Japan on December 8th. Its regular edition costs 6090 yen ($78.87 US), but a limited edition, with a 2-disc soundtrack, metal 'Wanted' plates and an original comic, will also be available for 8190 yen ($106.07 US).
