Dragon Quest X Online Gallery Update
Forests, towns and mountains. Oh my.
10.16.11 - 2:41 PM

In Dragon Quest X Online, you start out as human but are forced to choose another race shortly after the beginning of the game, each having their own area. The pink-haired elves live in homes in the forest, with their capital city's architecture themed after forest creatures. They also have what looks like a huge library. Ogres of course, live in a more mountainous area called Ogreed. The race is about strength and courage, and train every day starting from a very young age - they aren't just born that way.

Like other Dragon Quest games, you can recover at inns and save your progress at churches. You can revive fallen players there too. At the post office you can send messages and items to other players, and at the blacksmith you can craft new weapon and equipment - as you'd expect. Bazaars, meanwhile, let you buy and sell items to and from other players.

Though you can talk to anyone in the game (and it wouldn't be an RPG if you couldn't), the characters with pink bubbles above their heads will tell you vital information that'll advance the storyline.

Our last two gallery updates include all the areas mentioned above - 36 screenshots in total. Dragon Quest X Online for Wii is due out in Japan sometime next year, but its Wii U version isn't yet dated.
