RPGFan Soundtracks Update
It's overdue, but it's finally ready!
10.11.11 - 9:21 PM

Before saying anything else, let me apologize for the delay in the posting of this update to the Soundtracks section. That said, we've got a nice bunch of album reviews on offer here, with another bunch coming very, very soon!

To start off, we have our first pair of reviews from Derek Heemsbergen: Square Enix's nostalgia-laden SQ Chips album and the Tales of Xillia OST. Derek wasn't too taken with Sakuraba's latest Tales effort, but he (and I) certainly enjoyed the sweet sounds of SQ Chips.

Next, we have Neal Chandran's review of the Solatorobo soundtrack. Chikayo Fukuda's epic score belies the seemingly light-hearted and cutesy exterior of the game, and Neal's review has all the details!

Dipping into the backlog, we also have John Tucker's first soundtrack review: the original Fallout OST! John (like many of us) was quite enamored with the original game in the revered Fallout series, and he wasn't disappointed by the music, either!

Lastly, our editor emeritus, Patrick Gann, also drops in with a review in the wake of his massive Seiken Densetsu Book write-up: Senjou no Valkyria Piano Pieces (that's the Valkyria Chronicles 3 piano album).

As I mentioned above, we'll have another update very soon, with coverage of The Witcher 2, Bastion, Persona 3 Portable: Voice Mix Arrange, and more-- so stay tuned!
