If you pre-order Final Fantasy XIII-2 in Japan at either Lawsons or HMV, you'll be able to nab yourself a nice in-game extra. Specifically, you'll get a download code for a unique angel bow and arrow weapon for Serah. The weapon converts the damage it deals to enemies into an HP boost. There's no image yet, but Square Enix have promised to provide one soon!

If you're looking for even more goodies then you'll be pleased to here that online retailer Neowing have reported the limited edition of the PS3 theme song will include another download code. This code can be used to download the "Gift from the Songstress," an accessory set that includes the "Diva Mic" and "Diva Headphone." No news yet as to if these items are purely aesthetic or if they have some use. It's due for release on November 23rd. The theme song for the Xbox 360 version will not include a code, but the PS3 code will work on both consoles.

Finally, the full soundtrack will be arriving a little later on December 14th. The original soundtrack will have both a limited and standard release that are priced at ¥4,800 ($62 USD) and ¥3,990 ($52 USD) respectively. The limited edition includes a bonus DVD. Specific songs have not yet been announced, but judging from the product codes it may span across a massive four discs. You can visit the official site for some samples.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 releases on December 15th in Japan, January 31st in North America and February 3rd in Europe.
