38 Studios most recent video for its upcoming Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning provides a pretty indepth introduction to the game's world, story and characters. For 4 minutes and 43 seconds, the trailer sure covers a whole lot of topics, all of it useful - so long as you don't get overly distracted by the pretty graphics. Long story made short, if you're like me you may end up watching this a few times. The video covers everything from the world of Amalur and its characters to its magic university, warring factions and evil plaguing the land. Most importantly, you'll see how your journey starts out.
By the way, if you read this in time, the developers will be holding their very first Reckoning Live segment on the game's official YouTube channel at 8PM ET/5PM PT. In this episode, the staff will have an even more indepth chat on the video you just watched above, plus a Q&A session after.
