ESRB Rates Chrono Cross & Final Fantasy Origins For PSN
Now we have even more Square PSone Classics to wait impatiently for.
09.22.11 - 4:32 PM

Just a couple of days after Sony turned out to be a big tease by not releasing Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger on PSN this week, it looks like we have more Square Enix titles to wait on. As usual, this comes via ratings board leaks. Both Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy Origins have been rated by the ESRB for the PS3 and PSP, meaning we should see them on the PSN in North America at some point. Released in the summer of 2000, Chrono Cross is the (slightly polarizing) sequel to Chrono Trigger with a huge cast of playable characters and a great Mitsuda soundtrack. Final Fantasy Origins included both Final Fantasy I and II (even though they've been remade a couple of times) with their original features... but no extra dungeons.

As usual, there's no set date on these, so check back for release information on these and/or any other long-awaited PSone classics.
